The
Garway Moon is a great place to eat, drink and relax surounded by rolling
countryside and friendly people. Here at The Moon, the emphasis is on
traditional pub food that is homemade with produce that is as local as possible
and is sourced from suppliers with both heritage and ethical standards:
-
we only use seafood from well managed sources that are caught
using methods that minimise damage to marine wildlife and their habitat. The Marine Conservation Society rating
must be a three or less and as an example we use Pollock (member of cod
family) rather than Atlantic Cod in our Bar Menu fish and chips. For more information, please refer to
http://www.mcsuk.org;
and
-
the majority of our meat is sourced from the farmers who are
regulars at the pub and all our beef is 21-day matured and butchered / minced on
site where possible.
Burns Night Supper - Sat 28th January 2012:
We are celebrating with the Scots with a 4-course menu plus 3 whiskey
toasts for only £34.95. William Braid will be our toastmaster and all
details can be round in our

Restaurant Menu:
Over the next few weeks some exciting new menus will be launched.
We have started with a wonderful new
Restaurant Menu which takes advantage of the fantastic local produce
available to us. Our Bar menu continues with the pub classics such as fish
& chips etc.
Christmas Menu:
We are now taking bookings for our

local farms, Pembrokeshire free-range turkey and seafood with a Marine Conservation

Sunday Lunch:
We take great pride in our Sunday lunches - all our roast joints
are always sourced from the local farmers and are served with all the usual trimmings,
including real gravy. We do also offer other restuarant dishes and our Bar Menu on a Sunday if you fancy something
different. If you are Gluten
Intolerant, please ensure you book at least one day in advance so the Chef can prepare
your own proper gluten free gravy.

in a busy working kitchen and also information about projects that we are
involved with.
