Recycling Mission Here at The Moon we are looking to recycle ALL of our waste. Herefordshire Council does not offer a trade recycling service. Early steps are being taken to involve the local primary school, and many of the schoolchildren’s ideas are already superior to ours! Across the UK only 43% of local authorities provide a trade recycling service. So companies wishing to do the responsible thing and recycle have to pay an outside firm to do it for them at a greater cost than sending it to landfill. We have contacted our local MP and the Secretary for the Environment about this issue and we are eagerly awaiting a reply. See more on the Garway Primary School recyling project. |

Quiz Night Our Quiz night happens on the last Sunday of every month and starts at 8pm. Each quiz has a different Quiz Master and all money raised goes to the monthly nominated charity. |

Christmas... Following on from our success last year, we have home-reared geese that will be the star attraction on our Christmas Menu which will be available throughout December. If you have visited the pub recently you will have seen them roaming around the paddock making a lot of noise!! |
